Our client is a leading organisation in the distribution of Hospital equipment across Ireland. Due to growth, they are currently seeking a Rental Account Manager to join an established team. Ideally based within reasonable distance of Dublin, you will be joining a robust sales team with responsibility for promoting and managing rental of our clients’ products across Ireland.

A valid driver’s licence is essential, and you will need to supply documents for Garda Vetting as you will be working in areas with vulnerable people. You need to work independently and be able to prioritise your individual workload.

Full training will be provided for all equipment as well as for demonstration. Enthusiasm, positivity and communication skills are essential to help build strong relationships with our clients customers.


  • You will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities and deliver sustainable rental revenue & market share growth.
  • You will also need to be able to build relationships with key shareholders within the HSE.
  • Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Able to demonstrate successful key account management to achieve sales growth.
  • Writing tenders and contracting documentation.
  • A strong working knowledge of HSE procurement process.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the selling process and have a successful proven track recordof sales.
  • Must be able to communicate with all internal and external customers in all forms of appropriate mediums.
  • Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads.
  • Qualified General Nurse or similar healthcare degree with experience in a clinical sales position within Medical Devices in the HSE.
  • Business qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Business and Selling Skills.
  • HSE tender process understanding a distinct advantage
  • Computer skills: Must be able to demonstrate good levels of skills in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • A reliable professional who is self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and has a clear focus on business profit and quality of service.
  • A natural forward planner who can self-evaluate and take ownership of their business.
  • Mature, credible and comfortable in dealing with customers at all levels including CEO’s.
  • A reliable, tolerantand determined individual who displays excellent communication skills and can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A very well-presented business professional with the ability to thrive on new experience, responsibility and accountability.
  • This individual is also conscientious and consistently works to the highest standard.
  • Foster collaboration within the various functions of our client and enable communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
