Our client is a leading supplier of single-use process solutions to the biotech industry.
This is a home office based with approx. 60% travel. Most of this will be within Ireland but some will be in Northern Europe. A base in Dublin is ideal.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical consulting expertise to customers in the area of Fluid Management Systems and support implementation of our products in customer processes.
Perform trials, demos and process reviews at customer site; collect and analyse data, present results in a report and presentation format in a timely manner, follow up of projects till technical closure.
Supports sales and lead qualification, quotation and project execution.
Troubleshoot customer problems and resolve customer complaints on site in a timely and satisfactory manner.
Identify areas for customer process improvement and uncover optimization and sales opportunities.
Provide validation support as necessary to implement Fluid Management Technologies into processes.
Technical training of customers and sales.
Requirements:
Degree in Biological Sciences. MSc / PhD an advantage
1+ year of experience in biotech processing
Hands on ability, proficient in conducting trials at customer sites.
Good understanding of bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and applications in a GMP environment supported by excellent product know how and knowledge on regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Excellent working knowledge of English plus other European languages (advantage)
Ability to effectively interface and communicate with internal and external customers at different levels and across different cultures.
Experience in dealing with customers.
Computer proficient in Windows-based software package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to demonstrate a “hands-on” attitude and a commitment to setting goals and delivering results
A flexible and “can-do” attitude
Product and application expertise with an understanding of the company positions and programs.
Ability to work through and not be phased by problems and failures to ultimately achieve success with a high level of quality and service orientation
