Conduct business in a manner that will protect human health, safety and the environment by complying with all applicable EHS laws.
Assist in the maintenance of an effective EHSMS system.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental legislation and Standards by ensuring all required EHS documentation is up to date and readily available.
Educate and engage employees in efforts to optimise EHS performance.
Ensure EHS audits are conducted and all issues effectively closed out.
Promote continuous improvement in all environmental and safety matters.
Ensure implementation of the waste management strategy, continually striving to reduce impact on the environment.
Ensure all EHS incidents are investigated to establish causation and resolution.
Assist in workstation assessment programme.
Promote, implement and participate in safety committees
Co-ordinate inspections by regulatory bodies as required.
Ensure permit completion in compliance with laws and regulations.
Manage and co-ordinate vendors and contractors where there is an EHS impact, and in accordance with local legislation.
Develop and deliver EHS Training Courses.
Ensure compliance to monthly ETMS requirements.
Assess and determine the introduction of new equipment, hazards, processes and chemicals.
Ensure compliance to ETMS Requirements.
Education & Experience
You will have a third level qualification in an Environmental Science/ Occupational, safety and health or related discipline is a necessary requirement for this position.
At minimum of at least 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
Any applicant must be eligible to work in Ireland. Existing work permit or EU passport required.
