Our client provides specialist diagnostic products to clinicians and laboratory professionals worldwide. They are dedicated to improving patient lives, delivering innovative medical solutions that improve the diagnosis and management of blood cancers and immune system disorders. They are seeking an Irish Business Manager to join their team, with a territory of the whole of Ireland who will deal with the following external customers: Hospital laboratory professionals including managers, hospital procurement professionals, hospital quality assurance professionals, managed service companies, NHS & HSE.

Role/ Responsibilities:
• Delivery of sales targets for Ireland: defence of current business and growth of business via new leads and existing customers
• Liaising with UK Sales management team
• Analysing current marketplace and feeding back important market and competitive information
• Planning, executing, and managing sales strategies as laid out by the National Sales Manager – this will require working in equal partnership alongside the UK Field MSL's
• Visiting customers across Northern and Southern Ireland
• Maintaining and building (new) relationships with existing and new customers across Ireland
• Responding to customer enquiries
• Work with the Contracts Manager to successfully complete tender bids on time
• Work with UK (and Global) marketing team(s) to deliver improvements in brand engagement for all our clients products
• Develop laboratory KOL Advocates for our clients products (some of whom can be used as ‘independent' coaches across Ireland)
• Communicate effectively to all internal stakeholders and Sales team
• Provide timely feedback to the National Sales Manager, including preparing a Monthly Report to be delivered by no later than the 3rd of the following month
• Adequate record keeping, in particular using CRM to track customer interactions and subsequent actions
• Conform to all organisational SOPs, including travel and expenses policies

Education/Experience:
• BSc or above in Biological Sciences/Life Sciences essential
• 3 years minimum diagnostics/laboratory sales experience across both Northern and Southern Ireland
• Excellent organization & communication skills
• Self-motivated, shows initiative
• Data analysis
• Business acumen
• Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external Stakeholders
• IT competent (Excel, Word, Powerpoint in particular)
• Team player
• Self-confident, never arrogant
• Act with integrity be reliable
• Positive mental attitude & Self-aware
• Analytical
• Open to continuous learning
• Well-presented &always prepared
• Works to deadlines effectively
• Holds a Driving License (no more than 3 penalty points or equivalent)
• Based in Ireland (North or South)
• Available to travel across Ireland on a daily basis to visit customers at the times to suit the customer
• Available for regular travel to the UK (including overnight visits of one or more days)
