Our client is a global leader in water, hygiene & and infection prevention solutions and services.They are seeking an experienced consultative sales professional who thrives on outstanding delivery for an exciting new Account Manager Life Science Ireland vacancy. The successful candidate will ideally be based in the Dublin region, managing a high performing territory and dealing with our clients Key Customers across Leinster region that will include counties Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Louth & Carlow.

Reporting to the Regional Division Director, this exciting opportunity will suit a candidate with 3-5 years sales experience who can demonstrate a successful track record of delivering results, retaining and growing business in previous roles ideally within the Pharmaceutical and Biotech areas. Key attributes for the role include exceptional selling and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking and problem solving.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Territory sales targets, Management of existing Customers, the acquisition of new customers, new sales, the follow-up on individual contracts and the implementation of contracts in co-ordination with the Regional Division Director.


  • Join an established High performing Team and deliver the Territory Sales Target and OI Target
  • Deliver on GTW metrics, Forecast Accuracy, Safety Metrics, Pipeline Management
  • Actively gather data and build a strategy to tackle competitors, customer needs, pricing and future business growth
  • Co-ordinate sales and strategic activities with the internal and external organisation.
  • Promote the product portfolio across Biotech, Pharmaceutical, Med Device and HSE Accounts
  • Maintain existing business
  • Attend relevant industry conferences.
  • Responsible for all Talent tasks within the Team associated with the Territory
  • Key support on strategic projects within the Region and across the wider Division and Market
Qualifications/ Experience:
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following previous experience:
  • 3rd level Qualification ideally in a Science based discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years selling experience to the Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Med Device Industries
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
  • Proven Track record in exceeding Financial, safety and Business targets
  • Preferably with prior experience working with the following: Microbiologists, Purchasing Managers, Facilities Managers, Operational and Production Managers, Distributors
  • Basic computer skills to include CRM, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Applicants will need to live within the territory
  • Hold a full clean Irish driver’s licence.
