Our client is leading healthcare organisation, based in Dublin. Reporting to the Product Manager, the aim of the Marketing Executive is to effectively support the management of the Eyecare product brands across the US & Distributor markets in line with best practice.

As the marketing executive, you'll be required to support the US Product Manager and the Head of Export Business in delivering agreed activities and implementation of marketing strategies. Other key activities include the development and creation of multiple brand awareness campaigns, working closely with external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures and adverts, track campaign performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Provide marketing support to the US Product Manager across the US market, and the Head of Export Business across a global distributor network, reporting into the US Product Manager.
  • Manage distributor asset requirements including artwork, translations, and digital asset content.
  • Perform market research and create campaigns based on the data you find.
  • Analyse customer opinions and try to find gaps in the market.
  • Liaise with the US Product Manager and the Head of Export Business to ensure that any synergies relating to new product launches or new assets can be utilized accordingly.
  • Ensure all campaign deadlines are met.
  • Place ads in print media such as newspapers and magazines along with online advertising sources.
  • Write and submit content for design of flyers, brochures, posters and other marketing collateral.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are up to date and consistent with ongoing marketing strategy and brand guidelines
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for internal updates
  • Implement pre-agreed marketing strategies (often as part of a wider marketing function)
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity.
  • Perform social media monitoring.
  • General administration
Education/Experience:
  • The successful candidate must have a third level degree in related field such as Marketing, Advertising or Communications.
  • 2-3 years consumer/brand marketing experience
  • Retail marketing experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of marketing and consumer trends
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow process.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Possess good interpersonal and strong communication skills.
  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
  • Strong Initiative.
  • Outstanding commercial awareness as you will need to analyse data.
  • Creativity when it comes to developing campaigns.
  • Have an excellent standard of computer literacy with excel and analytical skills.
