Our client is seeking a Parasitologist with Entomology expertise for the pre-clinical laboratory in the West of Ireland.

Summary of Main Duties & Responsiblities:
Responsible for the day to day running of the endoetoparasitology laboratory.
Identify and cultivate endoprasites
Apply knowledge of the life cycles of endoparasites to study designs.
Establish laboratory cultures of ectoparasites and other insects as required.
Comply with GLP & GCPv standards.
Write SOPs and protocols for studies.
Serve as the Parasitologist or Investigator on studies.


The successful candidate must have:
Minimum of degree in Parasitology or Entomology
Laboratory experience required.
Experience in designing and executing studies
Knowledge of GCP and GLP
Project Management Experience
Knowledge of basic statistical principle
Experience of rearing insects
