Our Client is a leading Regulatory body who currently have an opening for a Scheduler/Work Planner , reporting to the head of the department. The successful person shall be responsible for the development of complex inspection schedules based on analysis of our clients database to suit the resourcing capabilities of the department. To provide comprehensive scheduling plans of all inspection, verification, complaint and warning notice activity. Report to Head of the Department on all matters related to scheduled activity. This is a 1 year Fixed term contract initially with a view to extension to a second year for the successful person.

Role/ Responsibilities:
• Efficient scheduling of all inspection, verification and complaint investigation activity to support the organisations Inspectors
• Review completed schedules, identify problems and opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions
• Effective management of warning notices and scheduling of inspector visits to support the follow-up to warning notices
• Manage compliance to ISO 9001 & 17020 requirements in relation to scheduling, complaint and warning notice activities
• Manage data entry for all inspection/verification and complaint activity and ensure data is entered accurately and efficiently in compliance with the relevant procedures
• Liaise with Inspectors on all scheduling activity
• Prepare monthly management reports for the department in relation to the completion of all scheduled activity
• Interface with the data analyst to support the delivery of ongoing data accuracy, integrity and validity
• Contribute ideas and recommendations for the improvement of the duties assigned
• Support the daily activities of the division
• Available to work out of normal working hours if and when required
• Other duties as requested by the Management

Qualifications/ Experience:
• Third level qualification in Mathematics, Science or ICT
• Minimum 3-5 years postgraduate experience in a similar environment
• Demonstrated experience using business analysis software packages
• Proven administrative experience dealing with a diverse range of tasks and stakeholders in a dynamic environment
• Previous experience of scheduling work tasks for field based staff
• Demonstrated experience coping with changing resources, conflicting timelines and operational schedules.
Technical Competencies
• Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft relational databases
• Knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 17020 Quality Management System documentation and requirements an advantage
