Quality Manager
Our client, a large regulatory body requires a Quality Manager to join their team. The Quality Manager will be responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System in line with European and International standards.

Responsibilities
• Implement and further develop the quality management system
• Manage the complaints procedure and the protected disclosure procedure
• Design, implement and oversee the document and records management system
• Maintain the systems and procedures for data protection
• Ensure an ongoing focus on the efficiency and continued appropriateness of quality
• management procedures
• Plan and facilitate the provision of training to support the understanding, implementation and operation of the quality management approach and system for all staff
• Work with colleagues across the organisation to ensure adherence to the agreed quality standards
• Develop and promote a programme of activities that create and sustain a culture of quality
• Develop systems to monitor the effectiveness of the quality management system
• Report and provide recommendations to department management teams on the continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the quality system in their areas
• Oversee the operation of internal quality audits within each department
• Report to the Management Committee on any key issues or areas arising from internal audits
• Review current data protection measures against the requirements of the legislation and manage a programme of agreed actions to ensure compliance
• Manage a system of regular review of relevant systems, policies, procedures in place for compliance with data protection legislation and manage any corrective actions needed
• Review any changes in legislation, propose an implementation plan and manage the
• approved programme of actions
• Plan and facilitate the provision of training to support the understanding, implementation and operation of the data protection legislation and system for all staff

Requirements
• Third level degree
• Qualifications in quality management
• 3 years relevant experience at a management level to involve responsibility for managing the performance and outputs of teams
• Business or management qualification desirable
• Experience in the development and management of quality systems in a regulated environment, including process management principles, document control and approval, internal audit, and continual improvement
• Experience of managing projects of significant impact or value
• Demonstrable planning and organisational skills in own work and also in managing outputs and workload of teams
• Strong relationships builder, working at all levels across the organisation
• Excellent report-writing skills
• Experience of working with others in a collaborative and solutions focused manner
• A track record of providing support, advice and innovative solutions to all levels
