Our client is a leading distributer of a range of Life Science, Industrial & Healthcare products across Ireland. This role is responsible for implementation of the sales strategy, progression of the sales pipeline and growth in market share in order to achieve annual sales targets. The product range is used to monitor systems across a range of industries using the Internet of Things (IoT) technology. In addition, this role maintains and develops long-term customer and supplier relationships. An electrical background is essential to the understanding & installation of this product line. This product range will be sold across the Healthcare, Industrial & Life Science industries across Ireland.


  • Execute strategies and action plans to drive sales
  • Prospect new accounts and manage existing customers
  • Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations, plan customer meetings, and perform product demonstrations to showcase capabilities of product
  • Provide technical and clinical leadership during the sales process by demonstrating the full range of products including potential uses, product capabilities and benefits to customers
  • Monitor existing customer installations to improve customer satisfaction, maintain customer relationships and identify other opportunities for self and our clients group of companies
  • Plan trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and customer training
  • Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing and customer service strategies
  • Use appropriate sales pipeline management tools consistently and effectively to support sales goals
  • Maintain clear and up to date calendar and call plans
  • Develop market plan, taking account of product life cycle, market trends and maturity
  • Manage and develop supplier relationships, to include responsibility for meeting annual performance targets
  • Demonstrate strong and consistent sales activity
  • Develop solid knowledge of the market including competitors, customers and suppliers


  • Third level qualification – electrical or electronic engineering background essential
  • Knowledge of HSE procurement system advantageous
  • 3+ Years in a sales role (B2B)
  • Proven sales track record
  • Ability to propose new agencies
  • MS Office (word, excel and power point)
  • Confident, motivated individual with strong communication skills
  • Full Clean Drivers Licence
  • Flexibility to travel
