Our client is a leading Healthcare organisation, based in Dublin. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager who will report to the Marketing Director. The Senior Product Manager – OTC Healthcare will be responsible for leading the Allergy, vitamin & probiotic brands across UK, Ireland and Export Markets. They will deliver multi-channel marketing plans and campaigns for these brands to drive brand awareness and revenue growth.
Joining a well-established Marketing department of nine marketing professionals, this new role will bring a very strong expertise in DTC marketing and OTC healthcare channel experience to the group.
The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years results driven marketing experience in the OTC Healthcare or FMCG space i.e., Allergy, VMS, Nutrition, Probiotics.
The role is ideally based in Dublin or surrounding counties. Some international travel is required, mainly to UK.
·Lead the marketing strategy and execution across the OTC brands.
·Conduct consumer-based behaviour and attitudinal research to gather insights and power effective campaign creative.
·Build annual brand/division marketing plans and budgets.
·Launch new campaigns, products and ranges to the Irish, UK and International markets.
·Understand the landscape from trend and regulatory perspective for TV and Radio across each portfolio and work with counterparts in marketing and medical to ensure that the campaigns are fully compliant with appropriate guidelines/regs.
·Lead tissue sessions with ATL agencies ensuring clear and effective briefs for creative, impactful campaigns.
·Evaluate pitch sessions and ensure our client awards the body of work to the right provider.
·Manage the agency relationship to ensure they are on brief and are delivering the best possible creative, media plans and value for our client.
·Manage marketing budget effectively to optimise investment across the calendar year.
·Work and align with Head of Sales and Sales Managers to support distribution and revenue objectives.
·Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Social Media Managers to deliver multi-channel campaigns.
·Collaborate and support other Product Managers in new DTC approaches with best practice training and advice.
·Work with our NPD department to support product pipeline developments and optimisation.
·Monitor competitor activity and adjust plans accordingly.
·Provide reporting and updates to the Marketing Director and CEO.
·Masters degree in Marketing or equivalent.
·8-10 years very strong experience in OTC/DTC marketing experience within healthcare/pharmacy channel.
·Ability to demonstrate a case history of successful ATL campaigns & launches that have surpassed revenue, share and brand awareness goals.
·A solid ability to work collaboratively in a fast moving, agile work environment.
·An individual who will bring not only solid expertise but someone who is authentic with a keen sense of fun.
