Our client services Industries globally to deliver information technology & process control integration technology products to Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Chemicals, Consumer Goods, Energy & Utilities, Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Metals & Mining Sectors. They are currently seeking a Senior Sales Account Manager to join a growing sales team in their office in the South of Ireland. This individual will acquire new customers for the company add-on business with existing clients. This involves establishing relationships, presenting knowledgeable, detailed solution and service demonstrations, writing clear and concise sales quotations, and following up during and after the sale. The Senior Sales person must be comfortable with computer software (preferably in the Life Sciences or Power industries), and have the ability to learn new products and realize where they fit within the client base. This successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, and do what it takes to successfully build the company client base in a competitive environment. They have to be able to demonstrate skills to update themselves on company products and services and to be a good team player with the rest of the Business Development team.

Role/Responsibilities:
• An understanding of the sales cycle and marketing techniques used to reach potential clients
• Knowledge about and comfortable with current and cutting edge computer technology
• Ability to present and demonstrate software products to individuals and groups
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A personality that likes interacting with people
• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision; whilst at the same time playing an active team role when appropriate
• Service focused and committed to creating a positive customer experience and building long term relationships
• Experience in the Life Science, Energy and/or Food and Beverage industry sectors is a plus
• Experience in utilizing Sales Tracking and CRM systems to document all appropriate sales activity as specified by Management, in an effort to compile and track sales data
• Experience in Marketing campaigns and utilizing all communication channels in delivering new campaigns
• Create, develop and implement new sales strategies
• Business acumen with good analytical skills and financial awareness
• Experience of market development and commercial customer activities
• Analyze markets in order to identify new sales and business opportunities
• Develop effective product demonstrations and presentations
• Coordinate efforts with all departments to ensure thorough product training and implementation for new sales
• Responsible for keeping Management informed of all sales related activity, market trends, and competitor activity within the territory
• Attend/conduct demonstrations at conferences, trade shows, seminars and marketing events
• Strong negotiation and account manager skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Evidence of achieving targets
• Remain up to date on company products and services regularly

Education/Experience:
• Degree in Science, Business or IT
• Minimum of 5 years sales experience
• Valid Driver’s license
• A willingness to travel within Ireland, Europe and USA
• Technical(IT Software) background would be a major advantage
