Max Benjamin is one of Irelands leading luxury goods companies specialising in the manufacture of high-quality home fragranced products from our base in County Wicklow. We sell to major retail outlets in Ireland and overseas markets.
As part of a plan to manage our growth the Company wishes to recruit a Stock Controller.
FULL DRIVING LICENCE AND OWN CAR REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
3 YEARS STOCK CONTROLLER EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Managing the inventory to ensure no stock outs at factory and at multiple subcontractor locations
Ordering Materials on time and ensuring timely deliveries
Reorder stock in line with quantities needed and keep stock levels at sufficient min & max levels for the company to grow and expand
Maintaining excellent relations with suppliers and subcontractors
Responsible for the balancing of physical inventory vs. system inventory, this will encompass the organising and execution of physical stock counts in all locations.
Reporting of detailed current stock levels and estimates to management.
Update stock sheets with new items/prices
Prepare and maintain seasonal stock estimates.
Planning weekly delivery schedules from suppliers.
Negotiation of delivery dates with suppliers and monitoring of shipping with transport companies to ensure goods are delivered on time.
Reviewing current processes and procedures with a view to improve upon and drive 'Best Practice'.
Sourcing existing raw materials from new suppliers
The Ideal Candidate will have
Previous experience and be well versed in the effective use of integrated planning systems.
Strong work ethic with willingness to take full ownership of the role.
Ability to work well in a team.
A minimum of 3 years Inventory control experience.
Ability to manage large quantities of stock in multiple locations.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of the use of MS Excel in Stock control and a high level of computer literacy.
Experience in working with Intuit Quickbooks and advantage
Able to work on own initiative and be flexible to meet a variety of challenges
