Inside Sales Support & Customer Care

Chemical Sourcing

  • Regulatory Alignment: Coordinate with suppliers to secure necessary technical and quality documentation (e.g., Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Technical Data Sheet (TDS), REACH compliance, and safety data sheets). Liaise with our Quality team to ensure full compliance with new product on boarding.
  • Alternative Matching: Identify alternative chemical manufacturers or product grades when global supply chain disruptions or line closures occur. Work closely with Purchasing manager to review all technical queries, price review, and alternative drop ins.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Inventory & Demand Planning: Liaising with the Warehouse and Inventory teams to ensure adequate stock levels for regular, forecasted contract customers. Work with account managers to secure accurate customer forecasts where possible.
  • Logistics Liaison: Work with freight and compliance teams to track shipments.

Education/Experience:

Essential:
  • Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an inside sales, procurement, or technical sourcing role - ideally within chemical distribution, ingredients, pharmaceuticals, or a closely related process manufacturing sector.
  • Education: A diploma or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Supply chain.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written English communication skills, with a professional phone manner.
  • Software: Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel for margin analysis) and hands-on experience with modern ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Desirable:
