Senior Principle Analyst Economic Modelling
Our client a global pharma company, are currently recruiting for a Senior Principle Analyst Economic Modelling to join their team on a permanent basis. As Senior Principle Analyst you will work with cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams to develop Health Technology Assessment (HTA) related documents including effectiveness analysis model adaptation, preparation or adaptation of economic model technical reports, systematic literature review of economic evaluations, development of a written response to payers regarding economic modelling, and/or to facilitate external scientific publications including, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and presentations. This role offers hybrid working.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, write, edit, review and coordinate the adaptation of Economic Models, model technical reports and HTA documents
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure data accuracy in the economic model
  • Collate the reviewer's comments, revise the economic model as required based on internal/external input, and prepare the final version of the model along with the report
  • Exhibit flexibility in moving across development and preparation of multiple document types
  • Work with teams to ensure smooth and timely economic model development and report development
  • Influence or negotiate change of timelines and content with other team members
  • Effectively collect and evaluate information from multiple sources
  • Participate in the Global Economic Model Development
  • Distinguish between critical and irrelevant pieces of scientific information during scoping and execution of projects
  • Gather relevant information from a variety of sources and generate insights with supervision
  • Soundly analyze qualitative data and interpret quantitative data
  • Maintain and enhance economic modelling knowledge, including programming skills and related software Demonstrated programming skills in software typically used for health economic modelling, especially in MS Excel with Visual Basics
  • Maintain basic knowledge of health outcomes-related research, including RWE and patient-reported outcome studies, etc., and an entry-level understanding of economic evaluation and knowledge of HTA bodies
  • Possess an overarching view of the compound, therapeutic area, and external environment (including competitors) with the ability to modify the economic model as per the country's requirement
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to adapt the economic model as per their requirements
  • Understand stakeholder requirements with minimal supervision
  • Communicate effectively and timely with relevant stakeholders
Requirements
  • Graduate degree with a formal research component or in life sciences
  • Master's in Health Economics/HTA or Equivalent preferred with at least 1-2 years of experience/knowledge in health outcomes research
  • Clinical pharmacology, therapeutic area, or other medical and scientific specific knowledge and experience (e.g., neuroscience, immunology, oncology, or endocrine expertise)
  • Have relevant experience in developing or developing economic models
  • Demonstrated programming skills in software typically used for health economic modelling, especially in MS Excel with Visual Basics
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and leadership skills. Able to adapt to diverse interpersonal ss.
  • Strong attention to detail, demonstrating accuracy in tracking and reporting data
  • Strong customer focus
  • Good problem-solving skills; able to anticipate and recognize problems, diagnose root causes and take corrective action to prevent recurrence
  • Strong comprehension and communication skills, including the ability to translate and disseminate complex scientific information in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated high-level end-user computer skills (e.g., word processing, tables and graphics, spreadsheets, presentations, and templates)
